23 March 2025 - Re-organized the videos section, with a table of contents and categories, and added new videos.

22 March 2025 - Added an image to indicate if links are external or downloads. Also changed a lot of things in the Music section by adding a Information and updates sections, from now on, the updates to the music player will be posted there.

21 March 2025 - I spent like 3 hours making the file directory better, and easier to navigate. Now every wallpapers and resources page has the name of its category, and the next button no longer puts you on the table of contents every time.
Update 2: Added a table of contents to quickly navigate the categories in the Music Player, to save a bit of time of scrolling.

20 March 2025 - Started a blog page thing, I don't know what to write there yet so it's empty for now.

19 March 2025 - 20+ songs added to the Frutiger Aero Bliss channel, mostly Wii game soundtracks.

18 March 2025 - Added Vocaloid songs to the Music Player. Mostly because I want to listen to them, but also because they were iconic in the 2000s. Made the text size on mobile bigger and the music artwork visible.

17 March 2025 - The sound toggle button on the navbar now toggles all sound effects everywhere instead of just the navbar sounds. There are also more sounds added now.

15 March 2025 - Added a few startup and background music themes from game consoles in the music section.

13 March 2025 - I have not updated in 2 days, I'm trying to chill a bit and play some video games again. I was spending all my time on coding and it got tiresome. I will update this soon and start working on stuff from my to-do list, so come back regularly to check for new updates, or subscribe to the RSS feed above. Thanks for all the awesome suggestions I've received via email and the guestbook, and the support in general has been just incredible and unexpected, thanks y'all.

09 March 2025 - I'm experimenting with a "toggle sound" button on the navbar, I went on the 2Advanced site and it kind of inspired me. For now there's only sounds for the navbar, but I might add more later. Added 3 Flash games and one animation.

08 March 2025 - Added more resources in foregrounds, clouds, bubbles, skyboxes, balloons, flares, sealife, insects, and trees.

07 March 2025 - Website Museum has been made, a compilation of screenshots showcasing the older versions of the Frutiger Aero Archive. Scroll down to see it.

05 March 2025 - 10 new songs added to the Metro music section, mostly from the iPod commercials, and 3 songs to Frutiger Aero from Stevia Sphere, find their bandcamp here.

04 March 2025 - 11 new Madobe Nanami wallpapers added, I also updated the description for the Windows CIW Prototype Demo video.

03 March 2025 - Added option to resize Flash game window, also made the whole UI more responsive and larger on full screen.

02 March 2025 - 12 new various videos added, like some i-Dog advertisements, Nintendo, concept videos, and more.

01 March 2025 - Changed the page navigation buttons to look aero instead of flat as previously.
Part 2: Added Aero borders around every container, and more transparency in the main content window.

28 February 2025 - Taking a little break from updates, as I feel a bit burnt-out. We are soon at 1 million visitors, that is just insane considering I launched this in August. Thanks everyone!
Part 2: Added 7 new Windows 7 wallpapers. here is the source of them.

26 February 2025 - I added 7 games to the flash media page, as follows: Bloons TD 1-4 + 4 expansion, WALL-E Space Escape from 2008, and Solar System Builder from National Geographic, one of my favorite childhood games. And I also revised some of the text in History, check out the new links in the introduction part of it, there's some cool stuff.

25 February 2025 - Okay so turns out the video.js video player doesn't work properly when you try to change videos on some iOS devices, so for this reason I'm reverting it to a simple HTML video player, as it's widely compatible and more responsive anyways.

24 February 2025 - I'm putting the old button back as my main because I prefer how it looks on the sidebar. I tried making a dark version of the new one but it didn't look right. The new button is still available if you want to use it, for exemple if your site is light theme, you might prefer it. You can download it in the section below.
Part 2: I added the rest of the Windows 7 feature videos from the official Windows 7 website of 2009, now there's all of them. I also added a Madobe Nanami video presenting the Touch Mouse made for Windows 7.
Part 3: Made the site info's text suck less and added way more info.

23 February 2025 - I redesigned my button, as I got better at photoshop, I also made a Neocities button and a Profile button in the same style (feel free to use them, btw), that's all for now.

22 February 2025 - Previously, the Music Player played a sound with a 2-second delay before the song started, someone pointed out that it was annoying, and I have to agree, it's not the kind of thing that should be forced on users. So I've made a toggle for it, and also for the other sounds that are playing when you press buttons. This way, if you like it, you can enable it, and if you hate it, you don't have to deal with it. I also added one new song from a game called Loddlenaut, as someone recommended me to add it.

20 February 2025 - Today I was kinda too tired to work on other parts of the website, but I'm thinking of making a section on books, like a selection of cool books and a description of them. Anyways, I've added 6 new wallpapers in the Madobe Nanami section, and found an HD version of the 61th wallpaper, which was previously very low res.
Part 2: Big overhaul of the UI, some people were saying that it looked too Y2K, so I've tried to make it more aero, and the fonts are a bit slimmer, the background changed too, so better match the new look. Hopefully you guys will like it. I'm always open to feedback on ways to improve this website. I also corrected some stuff in the History section.

19 February 2025 - Added an RSS feed for this page, I'll probably post the updates to this site on here and maybe other things that I don't want to write here. To add it to your RSS feed, just copy the URL by clicking the little orange button and copying the link.

18 February 2025 - Music player now has CD sounds and the download button is now on the bottom, and there is a new scanlines overlay. Make sure to refresh your cache to see all the changes (CTRL+SHIFT+R on PC). Update 2: Music Player now has a aquarium screensaver that you can toggle on by pressing the blue link. Update 3: 20 more songs added, mostly to the Nightcore category.

17 February 2025 - 12 More Madobe Nanami Wallpapers have been added, as well as 20 images to Miscellaneous. Added Loop button to Music Player. Added meta tag "darkreader-lock" to stop Dark Reader extension from changing my CSS to dark mode automatically.

16 February 2025 - More miscellaneous wallpapers added, as well as a few resources (in globes, water, skybox, clouds, miscellaneous, buildings, foregrounds). Also added 2 songs to the music player: Caesars - Jerk It Out, and PURBLE by gusky, check out his soundcloud here. Update 3: Added 600 new wallpapers from a stock photo CD-ROMs collection from the year 2000.

15 February 2025 - Added lots of new songs, including an album called "The Soundtrack Of Frutiger Aero", which is just perfect. Update 2: Added more browser icons, iTunes, Steam 2003, and a few other changes. Update 3: Oh my goodness the video page was glitched all this time, should be fixed now.

14 February 2025 - Added 1 more artwork that I did to wallpapers, as well as replacing a duplicate image in foreground resources (Image 49), I also added titles when you hover the header images, this way if you use a translator you can have the text translated into your language. Update 2: Added mute function on clicking the volume button, and the image will now change depending on the volume. Update 3: Added more space between links everywhere.

12 February 2025 - Added more Metro songs and a toggle to hide the sidebar if unwanted (If you want to see the artwork better). Update 2: Fixed the transparent CD (Because CDs are not transparent, lolz). Update 3: Added option to hide background image.

11 February 2025 - Added 4 new songs from opoona and one from Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, thanks to a email suggestion. I also added functionality to toggle off the visualizer and spinning disk. Update 2: Added backgrounds for whatever song you're playing. Update 3: Added Nightcore music.

10 February 2025 - Renamed Flash Games to Flash Media as I'm going to upload more than just games there. I also changed the design of the header and navbar by adding more gradients and effects.

09 February 2025 - Added lots of text, images, and links to the History section. There's now an Introduction also.

08 February 2025 - Made a black and green Aero theme for the video player (Video.js) to match my website.

07 February 2025 - Improved Accessibility by fixing contact form labels not properly set up, repetitive, too long or missing alt tags, repetitive links in history section and in the header, and some other stuff. I recommend WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools if you want to check your website for errors.

06 February 2025 - Added 5 Frutiger Aero render videos by notthedarklord (with his permission, go check his socials), I also made it that it now automatically scrolls up to the top when you press a video. Fixed wrong links in Sitemap.

05 February 2025 - Added more songs from the Nintendo 3DS and the PS Vita, along with some other ones that were recommended to me.

04 February 2025 - Added lots of songs from the Wii and Wii U, and some other ones, I also replaced some of the audio files that were too compressed, for exemple the Introduction song. Improved mobile responsiveness.

02 February 2025 - Noticed the wallpapers section lagged a lot, so instead of generating the images in JavaScript every time someone loads the page, I've decided to use Python to generate the images and then add them in HTML manually. This way, JavaScript is no longer needed, and i separated content in more pages so that it loads faster. By doing this, I also made it show the size of the image next to the download button text. Update 2: Did the same for the Resources section.

01 February 2025 - Added sound effects on some elements such as the download buttons and when you swap videos/games, I also modified the video player a bit. You can now view the source of videos and download them directly.

31 January 2025 - Number of resources go from 482 images to 782, as I found Asadal psd files on the internet.

30 January 2025 - Every page now has a non-JavaScript version, so that if you don't like JavaScript, you can still get useful stuff from those sections that rely heavily on scripts.

29 January 2025 - Added 200+ images to resources and external links, and organized wallpapers better, reducing the number of pages, since I incorporated lazy loading for images. Improved non-javascript experience by providing a list of external links and downloads in the Resources and Wallpapers pages. Added Flash games ! Feel free to suggest the ones you like, I will add them, if I can find the file for it.

27 January 2025 - Added header images for almost every page.

9 January 2025 - Made the resources page better, by adding descriptions, downloads, and many more images. I'll add more over time as i find them.

7 January 2025 - I removed the buttons and links from this page and moved it to a new one, i also added a bunch of other website links to that new page. I also added images in the header of most of the pages.

5 January 2025 - Added a Resources section, where i post images for making original Frutiger Aero artworks.

3 January 2025 - I made a new button, and changed the interface a bit (it's a bit darker). I also added images in some of the section descriptions.

1 January 2025 - Happy new year, everyone ! I'm really thankful for all your support. I can't believe we are already at 133,136 views in such a short time ! The fast growth is very surprising. Anyway, as you can see I've changed the banner in the Introduction section, which now features Nanami. I also polished other parts of the website, and improved SEO, site structure, and other stuff.

30 December 2024 - Improved the wallpapers section a lot, I added more in-depth descriptions for the different categories, I also added external download links (for example, Internet Archive). Added Madobe Nanami wallpapers, and a bunch in the Miscellaneous category.

29 December 2024 - I added download links for all the wallpaper categories, but they are split into parts because of Neocities limitations on file sizes.

28 December 2024 - Added Material Dictionary 149 and 235, and i made a script to add a lot of images at once, so it won't be tedious to add images anymore.

26 December 2024 - Merry Christmas ! In the video section, i added dynamic descriptions, now every time you change video you will be able to see the title, description, and date of release of the video.

23 December 2024 - Added hundred more images from Windows 7, Vista, Vista Beta / Longhorn, Stock photos, and Windows Mobile wallpapers.

22 December 2024 - Improved Accessibility even more, added new favicons for phones, improved SEO. Added semantic tags instead of divs. I also added a lot of songs in the Music section, and all the wallpapers from Windows 7 and Vista.

21 December 2024 - Improved Accessibility website-wide, now all the images have alt attributes, and it should be possible to navigate through using a keyboard. The alt attributes for the images in the wallpapers section are generic (like Frutiger Aero - Image 1, Image 2, etc.) because it would take absolutely forever to describe every image by hand, but I do describe the images in the other sections. If you notice something else that can be improved upon Accessibility-wise, please email me or a message on the guestbook.

I also divided the wallpapers section in multiple pages, so that the load times will be faster.

20 December 2024 - Overhauled the Music section, added a few songs and a visualizer, and a spinning CD, also the pause and play button have been merged into one. ALSO, i made a video section, finally.

19 December 2024 - Long time since I updated this ! Today I added more wallpapers: 400 more from Material Dictionary 186 and 232, uploaded by Tokoni, and 27 by Liam / Z2r, an Aero Artist who makes really cool images, check them out ! I also added 61 images from Asadal.

3 December 2024 - Redid the wallpapers section, i added 2 more material dictionary CDs, a few more other wallpapers, and Frutiger Metro wallpapers. In total, there are 660 images.

29 November 2024 - Changed the navbar icons to Windows Vista for consistency, and because they are iconic aero images.

22 November 2024 - Guestbook now has it's own page within the website. I also added a few songs to the Music section.

21 November 2024 - I fixed a lot of typos, changed some images in the Introduction section, and improved the History section.

19 November 2024 - Made a new section explaining the history of Frutiger Aero, how it came about, how it ended, I've spent a few hours writing all this, I hope it's gonna help people to learn more about it.

18 November 2024 - Added a summary in Wallpapers section, added some icons. I made the website layout a bit darker, and added shadows. I also added icons on the left navbar.

25 October 2024 - Added 200 more wallpapers from the "Material Dictionary 206: Eco Images - Environment & The Future" CD.

19 October 2024 - Organized the wallpapers in more categories, added download button to music player.

24 September 2024 - Changed logo, polished the look a bit, changed background.
